Thank you so much for continuing to support our fundraisers and staff appreciation endeavors! Let's take a look at what we accomplished last month and future PTA initiatives.

 | | ANNUAL ONLINE AUCTIONThis year's BHE Online Auction will launch on Monday, May 3 at 8:00 AM and close on Sunday, May 9 at 10:00 PM.
Simplyclick on our Auction Website link HERE, register for an account, and bid on all of the AMAZING items: from gift certificates to restaurants, party packages, photo shoots, art and jewelry, and so much more. There are literally hundreds of products and services to choose from! Items are added daily, so check the site often.
Our coveted raffle this year will be a package full of items for Mom! With Mother's Day right around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win this amazing package. Each raffle ticket is $20.00.
The raffle package will include the following: - A family photo shoot and 16"x24" wrapped picture from Shelby Erin Photography ($650 Value)
- 3 Gold Freida Rothman Vermeil Bangle Bracelets from Crogan's Jewel Box ($550 Value).

TCBY SPIRIT NIGHTWe are super excited that TCBY has offered to host a Spirit Night for our families! Swing by TCBY for some delicious frozen yogurt, in various flavors with fanciful toppings. Vegan, Nonfat, and No Sugar Items are also found on their menu. You must tell the staff you are there to support BHE for us to get a portion of the sale. Anyone who does this during Spirit Night hours will qualify, so share this event with your neighbors. Talk about a sweet deal!

MOE'S SOUTHWEST GRILL SPIRIT NIGHTDrop by Moe's anytime from 5-7PM to order from the regular menu. Moe's will give back 15% of those purchases back to BHE. If you'd like to order a Moe's Meal Kit, please place a pre-order by 4PM on the day of Spirit Night by calling 904.775.8553. We get $5 back for each Meal Kit ordered.  | | PTA APPRECIATION PARTY Mark your calendars for Thursday, May 20 for our Annual PTA Appreciation Party. This is always a fun event for PTA parent volunteers and members as we celebrate an extremely successful year of supporting our sweet school. This also a wonderful way to meet and mingle with other PTA members. If you are interested in getting involved in our PTA next year, this event provides the perfect opportunity to learn about our different roles and committees. We have so much fun together and volunteering with our PTA is extremely rewarding! We'll provide light appetizers and wine. More details to come!

 | | GARDEN CLUBOur PTA-sponsored Garden Club has added more parent volunteer slots to the remaining dates in the school year. It is held outside in the garden during recess on Tuesdays, with a rotation of classes attending.
All levels of green thumbs are welcome!

 | | SCHOOL TOOL BOX SUPPLIES FOR 2021-22 SCHOOL YEARWe are once again partnering with School Tool Box for prepackaged school supplies for the 2021-22 school year. It's so much easier than hitting four different stores to find requested supplies and your supplies will be shipped directly to BHE.

Merchandise can be purchased from now through May 21 from their online store HERE! Pick-up will be available at BHE for purchased items beginning June 1.  | | CRAYOLA COLORCYCLESend in your old markers and ColorCycle them!
The BHE Green Team participates in Crayola’s marker recycling program, called ColorCycle.
There are collection boxes in each pod where students can place old markers that are ready to be thrown out. Any brand of marker can be turned in.
At the end of the year, Green Team will collect the markers and ship them back to the Crayola factory where they will be converted into clean fuel as well as compounds used for asphalt and roofing shingles.
By ColorCycling our old markers, we are keeping tons of plastic out of landfills. Remember, don’t trash it, ColorCycle It! |

 | | THE GREAT BHE CLOSET PURGECleaning out closets or minimalizing? We have the perfect way to recycle used items, while also earning money for our school!
The BHE Green Team has partnered with The Clothes and Shoes Recycling Bin to help the environment. RECYCLE, REUSE and REPURPOSE used clothing, shoes, and textiles - in any condition.
Items that can be donated include:
• Clothing (shirts, pants, dresses, coats, undergarments, etc.) • Footwear (shoes and socks) • Accessories (hats, belts, ties, scarves) • Handbags (purses, backpacks, wallets, luggage, briefcases) • Linens (towels, sheets, blankets, tablecloths)
